Sunrise Visits FHS

From 4am this morning some of us arrived with the glow of moonlight and stars in the sky to make final preparations for the visit from Sam Mac and his Sunrise team from Channel 7.  It was a wonderful fun filled morning enjoyed by all who attended. Thank you to the teachers and students who gave up their time and sleep to assist with the preparations for today. It is no surprise that the biggest acknowledgement and thank you goes to Deb for initiating and organising this morning. The donated boxes of Kellogs cereal, fruit from Flemington Markets, milk and juice from Dairy Farmers, the Mayor, Pacifica, toilet paper, the GAs at 3.30am,....I think we are all amazed at how much you put together in such a short space of time. Amazingly well done. From all of Fairfield High School and our community partners, thank you for a great job and for caring so much about everyone who comes into contact with our school. I know how little you have slept in this passed week, I hope you make up for it over the weekend.
