Sydney Pacifica is Australia's largest cultural festival involving high schools throughout Sydney that have Pacific, NZ Maori & Aboriginal Indigenous students. It aims to connect the students to their cultural heritage and learn the importance of traditions, customs and values that strengthen their identity. Sydney Pacific included various events and program, many of which FHS students participated including the Youth Leadership program.
The accumulation of Sydney Pacifica was an Expo including food stalls, career, education and sporting information and a spectacular performance night at Whitlam Centre, Liverpool. Students performed four cultural dances as a medley showcase including an aboriginal cultural item. FHS performance was outstanding and demonstrated the amazing talents of our students.
