P&C Success

This term's P & C meeting was a momentous success and totally different to how we normally run our P & C meetings. Previously we would hold our meeting every Week 4 every term on a Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm.

 

We decided to revamp our P & C meetings to entice a larger number of parents to attend. Now our P & C meetings are held every term Week 4 on a Wednesday  from 9.30am to 11am with a focus on upskilling our parents on using computers. 

On Wednesday we taught over 30 of our parents, how to navigate our school website, Facebook and Twitter. With such an outstanding response, we are now running Snack Bytes, every Week 4 and 9 of each term, for our community.

Subjects we will be touching on are 

-Social media

-Google doc's

-Word

-Excel 

We would also like to thank our student translators, who engaged and supported our non-English speaking parents for the duration of the P & C meeting
