Peer Support at FHS

As you are aware, from the beginning of this Term, all of Year 7, along with 38 Year 10 Peer Leaders, have been involved in Peer Support Period 3 on Wednesdays.

Year 10 Peer Leaders are delivering workshops and activities that focus on building resilience in Year 7 students. This includes: developing a stronger sense of self; realising the way thoughts shape experiences; and, eventually, taking responsibilty for one's own actions.

So far Year 7 seem to be enjoying the Peer Leader led sessions. Our Year 10s have also grown in leadership as they manage and engage students.

Peer Support will finish in Week 8. I encourage you all to ask Year 7 and our Year 10 Peer Leaders how they are finding the program.
