SBS World News visits our school

SBS World News recently visited our school to produce a feature story on some of our IEC refugee students. Linda Doherty, DoE Director of Communication and Leadership, Cathy Brennan, School Director and  Refugee Support Leader Cindy Valdez-Adams from Fairfield Public School also attended. SBS interviewed four of our students and families about their recent experiences and individual journeys to Australia. In addition, SBS learned about what the Department of Education, FHS and FHS IEC are doing to support these students education and transition into Australian life. SBS will screen the story on this Thursday night, 9 Feb at 6.30pm on SBS World News
