Our Yr 12 Community and Family Studies students will be attending an excursion on Monday 11th September to visit the Exodus Foundation in Ashfield and also Barangaroo South Towers.
The aim of the excursion is two fold. One, to raise awareness of Homelessness in Sydney and the great work and support available at the Exodus Foundation. Students will be given a tour of facilities and time to ask questions related to the syllabus content. Two, to view and experience the many technological advancements shaping our city and consider the positive and negative impact on our wellbeing. We will also be taken on a tour of this site and have the opportunity to ask questions of the tour guide.
This excursion will reinforce content presented in the two HSC units, Groups in Context and Social Impact of Technology.
