14 Aug 2017
From the 14 August, the school readiness test period test will commence. The readiness test is a 'practice run' for schools and is an important opportunity for schools to prepare for the transition to NAPLAN online.
Almost all schools have registered for the school readiness test. The first week has 50 schools registered and participation increases to over 500 schools each week. The school readiness test will provide each school a supported opportunity to experience the online assessment coordination and administration process. Outcomes of the readiness test will provide a better insight into NSW schools readiness and help inform what we need to do to further prepare our local school communities; schools, teachers and students, in the transition to NAPLAN Online.
The latest NAPLAN Online newsletter provides more information, including how to prepare for the school readiness test, access training resources and information for parents and carers. It also contains support contact details and where to find more information. Please take the time to read the newsletter and share with your school community.
