7 Blue powering through MathsPathway
Students from 7 Blue have been powering through MathsPathway modules in recent weeks. Thanks to the support of Australian Schools Plus in partnership with SC Johnson, year 7 students at Fairfield High School are able to access the MathsPathway learning platform to guide their own learning, and 7 Blue have made amazing progress in the last two weeks.
Outstanding recent growth by Eldina Spijodic(367%), Kolo Maile(300%), Rose Nazari Sobbe(267%) and Amira Lee(267%) is showing just what can be achieved when students take charge of their learning.
In addition, students have engaged with rich learning tasks, including the 2-4-6 Maths Rules game. It has been wonderful to see the sharing students do in these environments.
Students have been able to stump each other and their teachers by selecting intriguing and complex rules, and everyone has had a great time investigating and trying to guess one another's rules.
