Wetherill Park COVID-19

Dear parents and community,

Students will be returning to Fairfield High School tomorrow. Due to the recent spike of COVID-19 in Sydney’s South West and confirmed cases at a local restaurant we ask all families to follow NSW Health’s current advice. Anyone who attended the Thai Rock restaurant in Stockland Mall Wetherill Park on 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 July is to immediately be tested and self-isolate for 14 days, regardless of symptoms. Please contact us if your child will be isolating because of this.

Also, anyone feeling unwell – even with the mildest of symptoms such as a runny nose or scratchy throat – is urged to seek testing and self-isolate. If students are sick with COVID-19 symptoms then we ask that they not attend school until they are medically cleared. Please contact the school to let us know that your child will be away and have them bring back evidence of their COVID-19 clearance when they return.
