As part of our Life Skills Community Access program students have the opportunity to participate in activities outside of the school grounds.
A popular choice amongst students is bowling at "7-10 Split", located 10-15 minutes walking distance, in Fairfield. By paying for their games and buying their lunch the students gain valuable mathematical skills.
The students are placed into teams of 4 or 5 and we had a weekly competition - this encouraged the students to try to increase their last weeks score, while having fun.
Other activities include, swim school, excursions to movies, theaters, shopping days, performance workshops, museum visits, picnics in parks and visits to popular sites and complexes.
